laboratório de investigação: engageLab

Trago o belíssimo vídeo criado pelo João Martinho sobre o nosso laboratório, engageLab na Universidade do Minho. É com grande alegria que o partilho aqui, acima de tudo por poder verificar através destas imagens, captadas ao longo de dias, a forma descontraída e bem disposta como as pessoas circulam pelo laboratório. Este laboratório só existe graças a todas estas pessoas, que lhe dão vida todos os dias, mesmo quando as condições se tornam mais difíceis. Obrigado a todas, e a todos.

O laboratório está situado fisicamente no Centro de Computação Gráfica, num espaço afecto ao Centro Algoritmi, mas enquanto entidade, é também parte do Centro de Estudos de Comunicação e Sociedade.  Deixo a definição oficial do laboratório e a seguir o vídeo.

engageLab is a laboratory at the intersection of arts and technology established by researchers of two research centres at University of Minho, the Centre for Communication and Society Studies and the Centre Algoritmi. engageLab aims to be a space of convergence of different fields and audiences, conducive of the intersection of different languages, integrating researchers from a variety of fields that contribute to imagine, research, design and implement the next generation of human-computer interaction systems combining the functional with the aesthetics of the experience, applied to a wide set of human activities and ideally inspiring new ones.
